I enjoy wandering around with my camera, looking for scenes that resonate with me. I have hundreds of photographs I've taken over the decades, many of which have become paintings. My painting practice is to interpret the images I've captured that inspire me the most, those with an energy and atmosphere I find especially intriguing. A successful painting, for me, is one that has an immersive quality, drawing the viewer into the scene.
